Key Responsibilities:
- Product and Architecture Development: Conceive data as a product to drive the design and implementation of solutions that align with the program's goals, focusing on practical data integration and usage.
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team in building and maintaining scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Data Engineering Methodology: Utilize your expertise in Python, SQL, and Azure services, as well as Lean principles, to implement a complex yet simple and manageable data management ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units to ensure data solutions meet strategic needs and drive business value, providing data-based actionable insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the squad in continuous improvement efforts, adapting to technological advancements and business landscape changes to prevent value deprecation and ensure market relevancy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- More than 7 years of experience in data management, with a focus on data architecture, system integration, and data model design.
- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and programming in Python.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, data management, and data governance.
- Excellent project management (agility principles) and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with local regulatory and compliance requirements related to data.
