Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers in the oil and gas industry
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems, including ICS Triplex, Allen Bradley, and Cameron Brands
  • Implement comprehensive site maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and integration of industrial control systems
  • Perform updates, upgrades, and field modernization of products and systems
  • Diagnose and repair industrial networks, including power and control systems
  • Analyze application requirements and system constraints to ensure optimal system performance
  • Program and configure Allen-Bradley systems
  • Provide on-site technical support and training to customers
  • Develop and implement comprehensive site maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or industrial maintenance
  • Experience in power and control systems, including programming and diagnostics
  • Desirable experience in PLCs, ControlLogix AB products, and AC and DC drives
  • Knowledge of human machine interface (PanelView, FT View, and others) and industrial control systems (electrical and instrumentation diagrams)
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and provide excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments

The Field Service Engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support and maintenance services to customers in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
