Key Responsibilities- Perform transactional processes accurately and timely, including fixed assets, general accounting, and account reconciliations.
- Review activity in construction in process accounts and capitalize fixed asset items according to company policy.
- Prepare standard recurring journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, and upload outstanding items into OneStream Monitor.
- Handle phone calls, questions, and correspondences with store managers, banks, and division management.
- Provide support for month-end close, working to a 2-day close and providing support to GL Accountants and Finance Managers.
- Perform financial analysis within the particular SBS team, researching transactions stuck in balance sheet clearing accounts and resolving policy exceptions.
- Pursue process improvement through involvement with projects, participating in transactional lean training and suggesting and performing small-scale process improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in relevant finance activities, including fixed assets, general accounting, and accounts reconciliations.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and very good experience with Microsoft Office.
- Very good knowledge of ERP systems, including Oracle R12/Cloud and SAP.
- 4-6 years of experience in relevant finance activities.
- Advanced English language skills, including speaking, writing, and reading proficiency.
- Knowledge of S-W systems, including OneStream, Oracle, Oracle Cloud, OnBase, Access, etc.
- Aptitude with various financial software.
- Excellent communications and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
