Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices
  • Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items
  • Lift heavy items and operate a forklift
  • Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped
  • Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
  • Prepare kitting packages for assembly production

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Technical competencies
  • Teamwork skills
  • Inventory management knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure in critical operations
