About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Buscojobs México. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage and supervise accounting staff, including task assignment and guidance.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide information to support decision-making.
  • Review and analyze financial data for discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare tax returns and working documents in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Provide support during mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax law regulations, assess their impact on the business, and ensure timely compliance.
  • Supervise and advise junior accounting staff.
Requirements
  • Professional Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • More than 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Good use of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Dominio de MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Excel, Teams).
