What You'll Do

  1. Collaborate with developers and product managers to design and develop new features for Prism.
  2. Write efficient, scalable server-side code using Python and Django.
  3. Develop effective server-side unit and integration tests.
  4. Test, debug, and improve functionality of existing systems.
  5. Implement security and data protection solutions to safeguard sensitive information.
  6. Assess and prioritize feature requests based on business value and technical feasibility.
  7. Work closely with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
  8. Create technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and clarity.
  9. Contribute to establishing new technical practices and improving existing patterns.
  10. Assess the long-term and short-term impacts of proposed approaches.

What We're Looking For

  1. 5+ years of experience as a developer in Python/Django.
  2. Familiarity with API-first design approaches.
  3. Experience working with relational databases and exposure to NoSQL databases.
  4. Proficiency in performance optimization techniques.
  5. Ability to write technical design specifications.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience working in Agile Scrum-based environments.
  8. Knowledge of popular front-end frameworks like ReactJS and Angular (a plus).
  9. Experience with code deployment to different environments (a plus).
  10. Mobile development experience (a plus).
