About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Si Power and Performance System Validation Engineer to join our team at Intel. As a key member of our Validation Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and power efficiency of our cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement system validation environments and test suites to ensure performance to specification.
  • Apply emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to optimize power and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop methodologies and execute validation plans.
  • Debug failures and provide feedback for future on-die debug features.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Computer Architecture and SoC system knowledge.
  • Understanding of software implications on power and performance.
  • Experience in testing and test content development for power and performance verification in C/C++ and Python.
  • Working knowledge of Computer Architecture and SoC system knowledge, memory, cache hierarchy, and fabric interconnects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • System on Chips (SOCs), Power and Performance Analysis.
  • Knowledge of DL/ML AI Artificial intelligence frameworks.
  • Tools and Industry standard workloads.
  • Experience in Power Estimation, Analytics, and Parametric.
  • Experience in the use of EDA tools for driving power projection debug across multiple workloads and scenarios.
  • Experience with modern CPU architecture.
  • Experience with Microprocessor or Chipset design methods.
  • Knowledge of Android OS, or Linux OS, or Windows OS.
  • Experience with IO systems PCIe, USB, or DDR.
