**Procurement Role**
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Molex. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for purchasing goods, materials, components, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Purchase goods, materials, components, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Follow up on raw material procurement from placing a purchase order to releasing it from quality management.
- Maintain accuracy and reliability of purchasing parameters on our enterprise resource planning system with regular validation and related documentation.
- Lead and direct the escalation of supply chain issues internally and externally with suppliers and category managers.
- Submit and manage new product introduction builds, purchase orders for non-recurring engineering, tooling, testing, and product change notifications.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, internal suppliers, and customers.
- Maintain periodic reviews of supplier account status to ensure correct payment and avoid supplier credit holds.
- Manage resolution to any pricing discrepancies and interface with accounts payable for invoice payment.
- Proactively search for favorable purchase prices with suppliers.
- Support efforts for adoption of sourcing and division strategies.
- Arrange transportation of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
**Requirements**
- Experience with enterprise resource planning system execution, including metrics, actions, and follow-up.
- Experience in purchasing electronics.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, additions, SUMPRODUCT, and SUMIF.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Notes, and Teams.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced English language skills.
- SAP user.
