Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and environmental programs to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular hazard analyses and safety inspections to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to department staff on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Review and analyze injury and incident data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of related safety/operational experience, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Deep knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards.
