We are currently seeking a **Maintenance Supervisor** to join our high-volume H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico Glass plant. As a top area employer, you can build a fulfilling career at Therma-Tru in our engaged, performance-driven culture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing the work team's activities, prioritizing tasks that require immediate attention, and ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and assigning workflow, ensuring employees understand their duties and delegated work tasks.
  • Assessing the work performance of the team and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Analyzing and making decisions on critical equipment failures.
  • Ensuring productive and peripheral equipment is working at 100% capacity, minimizing downtime for repairs.
  • Coordinating equipment and building improvement projects.
  • Maintaining peripheral equipment, such as air conditioners, compressors, and fire protection systems, in operating condition.
  • Supervising preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Managing the purchase of materials necessary for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Coordinating preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintaining inventory of key pieces of equipment.
  • Leading daily meetings of the maintenance team to ensure effective communication.

**Requirements**

  • 3-5 years of experience and an associate degree.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in industrial electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and single-line diagrams.
  • Knowledge of welding, PLC, substations, and fire-fighting systems.
  • Experience in failure analysis with electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic equipment.
  • MS Office and computer system skills.
  • Decision-making and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate English level (desirable).
