As a key member of our team, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:- Maintenance Management: Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that our facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes, fire safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and reduce our environmental footprint.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and achieve cost savings.
- Crisis Management: Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential crises, such as natural disasters or power outages.
- Vendor Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Performance Metrics: Analyze data and metrics to evaluate facility performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Education: Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance, preferably in large manufacturing operations
- Skills: Knowledge of electrical substations, HVAC systems, hydraulic pumps, electrical motors, compressed air systems, and reverse osmosis systems; LOTO Certification; Confined spaces training; First aid training; FPS certification; Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
