Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, maintaining, and improving the mechanical assembly process required for product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Design, fabricate, and validate fixtures, tools, and molds to support production processes.
  • Establish and maintain process parameters in accordance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new product introductions and ensure smooth production ramp-up.
  • Train technicians on process, machine configuration, and process parameters.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in selective soldering or a related field.
  • Certification in soldering is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components identification and understanding of flux, preheat, and material influences in selective soldering.
  • Experience with Solder Machines: ERSA and Inertec.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in surface mount technology is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis (Minitab).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multifunctional teams globally.
