Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Operations Handler to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload company vehicles, sort packages, and provide efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
  • Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide necessary paperwork relating to the pickup and delivery of packages, including airway bills and delivery records.
  • Seek additional business from current customers and pass leads to the Sales Manager as needed.
  • Inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and secure manner and perform basic maintenance.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or Equivalent.
  • Valid Drivers License and good driving record.
  • Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
  • General vehicle maintenance and power tools experience a plus.
  • Basic English Skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete the Basic Skills Test.
