Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to lead our QOS initiatives within the launch department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production team leaders and Process Coaches to review quality deliverables and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including FTT, 8Ds, Scrap, Dock Holds, and Dock Audit records.
  • Participate in quality and contamination audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present standard reports for quality reviews within the plant and with other areas.
  • Review rejected parts for quality integrity and make informed decisions on next steps.
  • Lead cross-functional team initiatives to achieve no faults forward and zero defects.
  • Coordinate Green and Black Belt projects within the department.
  • Document and control error proofing checks, internal checks, and additional containments.
  • Participate in interplant benchmarking exercises to share best practices.
  • Actively participate in Simultaneous Engineering meetings, Forward Planning, and Product Design to ensure MTC process is followed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
