Aramco is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogen Engineer to join our New Energy Engineering Division (NEED) under the Process and Control Systems Department. This department provides services in process engineering, automation, new energy, and digitalization to various entities within Aramco.
The Hydrogen Engineer will provide technical expertise related to hydrogen production and utilization for projects, operations, and new business initiatives. Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for operating plants by liaising with licensors, Catalyst vendors, and operations teams to troubleshoot plant upsets and operational problems.
- Liaising with technology suppliers to evaluate H2 production and utilization options in low-carbon fuel production and CO2 emission reduction initiatives.
- Participating in the execution of Hydrogen-related projects by reviewing process documents at different stages of capital projects.
- Conducting techno-economic evaluations of new technologies, catalysts, or adsorbents related to low-carbon hydrogen production and associated fields.
- Developing internal capability to generate basic parameters, such as high-level heat and mass balance, broad equipment specifications, utility and energy consumptions, process performance, etc.
