Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at The St. Regis Mexico City. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods, including breads and pastries.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare breads and pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
  2. Review Production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
  3. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
  4. Ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
  5. Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
