Key Responsibilities:

As a Gameplay Game Designer at Magic Media, you will be responsible for creating engaging and thrilling games that meet our client's vision and industry standards. This involves designing game mechanics, systems, levels, and documentation for clients and developers. You will also perform in-engine balancing, tweaking, and polishing tasks related to game designs, as well as experience designing game systems that efficiently achieve specific goals. Additionally, you will create effective and well-documented wireframes for UX/UI and adapt to pre-existing documentation standards. Your ability to work within a multidisciplinary team towards shared goals, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate game design activities is crucial for this role. You will also coach teammates in game design tasks and communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years of professional experience in game design. You must have expertise in Unreal 5.3, be a methodical documenter with feature description experience, and have experience in designing locomotion, 3Cs, and systems. Additionally, you should be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills. You will also work with Art and Programming departments, creating and tuning FTUE and game tutorials. A deep up-to-date knowledge of the free-to-play market in mobile platforms is also required. We are looking for someone who has shipped multiple game titles as a Game Designer and is proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, capable of working autonomously, and energetic.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience developing pitches, working with Unity game engine, basic scripting skills, developing for PC and console platforms, and experience in developing sandbox games, big open world games, mobile and WebGL games, and play to earn concepts are all desirable.
