Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Safran Companies. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide variance analysis of monthly costs, profit, and forecast in comparison to prior and plan.
  • Participate in determining objectives of assignment and plan schedules to accomplish objectives.
  • Conduct or assist in the documentation of moderate to complex financial analysis.
  • Work with teams to develop and perform complex cost/benefit analysis.
  • Exert influence on consistency of solutions in meeting organizational objectives.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing costs and system tool usage, such as SAP/BW and Microsoft products.
  • Work closely with Operations on KPIs support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul financial process.
  • Perform a detailed analysis of the cost estimates and all assumptions utilized in preparing the estimates.
  • Identify the related risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze inputs for monthly costs, profit, asset management, and forecasts.
  • Perform the same effort for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Budget as assigned.
  • Identify/quantify risks and opportunities to ensure that the team and management are informed of the financial status and impact.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met – arrange modifications as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP) Mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of the organization, processes, tools, procedures, and customers.
  • Contribute to process improvements using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services, tools, or processes.
  • Analyze possible solutions using new ways of doing things.
  • Receive a moderate to minimal level of guidance and direction.
  • Provide informal guidance to junior staff.
  • Proficient in tools required for the job.
