Job Description

This Sr. Tooling Engineer will lead and coordinate the NPI & Transfer Molding team to introduce new molds and transfer them to production. They will work closely with US and China teams on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement mold tooling solutions.
  • Evaluate necessary peripheral equipment and assign presses correctly.
  • Support global NPI teams in ensuring timely delivery of molds.
  • Plan and coordinate activities for mold qualification and ensure correct receipt of molds, documents, and equipment.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong experience in injection plastic molding and tooling.
  • Advanced English language skills (conversational and written).
  • Knowledge of plastic molding processes and scientific molding principles.
  • Experience leading and coordinating teams and projects.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in the Automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with design software such as NX Siemens, Autocad, Inventor, Solid Works.
