Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team at Ennismore. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to lead the development and implementation of human resources strategies that drive business growth and success.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading short and long-term strategy planning and execution management of the Human Resources function across multiple properties. Key responsibilities will include recommending departmental budgets, managing expenses within approved constraints, and overseeing recruitment, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, training, recognition, employee/labor relations, organizational development, record keeping, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise People & Culture teams
  • Prioritize and manage projects to achieve strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all Human Resources/employee regulations and laws
  • Communicate new policies, information, and directives to all team members
  • Maintain hotel-wide compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitor recruitment, screening, background checks, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Maintain, communicate, and manage team member benefits and wellness programs
  • Set up, approve, and maintain all wage and salary programs
  • Recommend and/or approve all employee transitions
  • Monitor and analyze turnover statistics and recommend corrective action and strategy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
  • At least five years of progressive Human Resources experience, including in a senior HR leadership role in a hotel or a related industry
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws required
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor hotel and staff goals, strategies, and policies
  • Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation
