**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Steelcase. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in helping our sales teams and dealers create innovative and effective design solutions using our Wood products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our Wood products, including Elective Elements, Mackinac, Currency, Convene, and Bassline.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and dealers to understand project requirements and provide expert design solutions.
  • Design and specify Wood product designs, creating final specification documents, renderings, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including product marketing and showroom teams, to support design initiatives.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to track project details, manage time worked, and update project status.
  • Contribute to the development of team resources, including the Wood Design Studio Applications Library.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or industrial design.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • 1+ years of experience in executing design proposals and concepts.
  • Expertise in construction, building systems, codes, architectural detail, furnishings, acoustics, lighting, and other disciplines.
  • Proficiency in architectural/technical drawing and rendering software, including AutoCAD and Sketchup.
  • Knowledge of CET/Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
