Job Summary

FedEx Express México is seeking a skilled Operations Handler to join our team. As an Operations Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Package Handling: Provide efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages, ensuring proper labeling, legality of content, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
  2. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports.
  3. Customer Service: Seek additional business from current customers and inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
  4. Vehicle Operations: Load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  5. Sorting and Auditing: Audit size and weight of packages and boxes, and sort them accordingly.
  6. Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, washing, and tire pressure checks.
Requirements
  • Education: Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Skills: Basic English skills, ability to lift 70 lbs, and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Personal Qualities: Accuracy and attention to detail, planning and organizing skills, problem-solving skills, and team working skills.
