Job Title: Industrialization/Equipment Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrialization/Equipment Manager to join our team at Adient. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the industrialization process, ensuring efficient equipment operation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management

Identify and qualify new suppliers to maintain competitive pricing and ensure consistent application of standards.

2. Standards Development and Application

Develop new standards and specifications as needed, maintain and update existing standards, and coach and train teams on standards.

3. Project Execution

Coach AMEs through development of specifications, review quotes and proposals, and facilitate vendor selection.

4. Technology Application

Identify potential technologies to improve current performance or increase automation, assess new technology, and lead/support pilot projects.

5. Continuous Improvement

Drive cost reduction, complexity reduction, and implement industrialization standards around new technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in industrialization and equipment management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and coaching skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
