Role Overview

The Clinical System Lead will spearhead and direct multiple project teams within ICON's Full Service IOD Clinical Data Science division.

This position is ideal for a seasoned Clinical Data Management professional with expertise in implementing and managing clinical data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales efforts by collaborating with Business Development and presenting at Bid Defense meetings
  • Peer review of study team technical documentation and work output
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customer teams on assigned studies
  • Lead project kick-off meetings, ensuring smooth project execution
  • Quality control peer review of CRFs, identifying and addressing any discrepancies
  • Communicate issues that may impact project timelines, scope, or budget to stakeholders
  • Negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers
  • Contribute to system integration setup and vendor interactions as needed
  • Provide input on revenue recognition/forecasting processes

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in clinical data management, including implementation and management of clinical data systems
  • Technical understanding of relational databases and ability to create complex data flow diagrams
  • Applied skills in project management, including predictive elements of timelines, resource requirements, and financial tracking
  • Detailed understanding of protocol content and interpretation of data collection requirements
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, processes, and timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
