About the Role

The Finance Operations Manager will oversee the billing team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, adequate training, and a feedback loop regarding performance and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement solutions to billing problems and oversee testing of system modifications.
  • Participate in long-term planning and implementation projects to ensure effective use of current and future technology.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
  • Manage mid-month and month-end billing week to ensure timely and accurate revenue allocation.
  • Partner with Business Operations, Professional Services, Credit & Collections, and Accounting teams to run day-to-day billing operations.
  • Monthly metrics reporting; collaborate with practice managers and operations teams to track and report key performance indicators against annual, quarterly, and monthly goals.
  • Ensure subcontractor invoices are processed in a timely manner, coordinating with Accounts Payable.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Finance and/or Business Operations Teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate results in metrics and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and Word.
  • Experience with multi-company and multi-location environments.
  • Deadline-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and instill a sense of urgency.
  • 3+ years in progressive roles in Corporate Finance.
  • 3+ years managing and developing employees.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of Epicor systems and SalesForce / FinancialForce is a plus.
