About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Lead to join our team at Hella. As a Technical Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development team and coordinating the Mechanical, Electronics, Optical, Simulation, and Software domains in Rear Lamps development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the technical realization of Rear Lamp development projects achieving legal and customer requirements and timing and cost milestones.
- Responsible for the coordination and analysis of the technical requirements of our customers and the development of the system concept with an interdisciplinary team consisting of hardware, software, and design.
- Evaluate technical changes and develop and implement appropriate solutions.
- Bundle the know-how of the functions represented and represent these functions in the project team and in the direction of the customer.
- Analyze correlations and effects and ensure the reliable realization of system properties and release defined component configurations after testing.
Requirements:
- A completed degree in Physics or in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with a reinforcement in the areas of design, lighting technology, or electronics and strong analytical thinking.
- More than 6 years of experience in the development of electronic, optical, or mechanical systems and an expert in at least one of these disciplines.
- Capability to lead multi-disciplinary and multi-location teams, manage budget, resources, define timing plan, and prioritize activities to achieve customer and internal milestones.
- Capability to handle the customer.
- Fluent in English as well as a high disposition to travel and mobility.
- Self-initiative, organized, and ownership.
