We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Supervisor to join our team at Eaton's ES AMER ARS division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a master production plan to satisfy customer demand while minimizing inventory levels.
- Provide the plant with a monthly production plan aligned with sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and desired inventory targets.
- Foster strong working relationships with Procurement, Production, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of customer requirements.
- Implement and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in the ERP system, generating requirements for manufactured and purchased parts, and ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained.
- Execute SIOP/Forecasting, Capacity Planning (RCCP), and Develop inventory targets to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis.
- Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels and product availability.
- Monitor daily attainment metrics and provide timely production schedules to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in master scheduling and inventory controls, preferably in the same industry sector.
- Fluent in English at business level, with knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures, including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.
- Experience using MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems, and Lean Manufacturing techniques: PFEP, Kanban/Pull systems.
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) desirable.
About the Role:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
