About the Role:

Zurich Insurance is currently seeking a skilled Sharepoint Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Sharepoint solutions using Sharepoint Framework and React.
  • Design and implement Azure functions, including Azure Key Vaults, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL server.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop workflows and data usage.
  • Test, debug, deploy, and maintain solutions.
  • Experience in migrations from Sharepoint Classic to Modern experience leveraging Power Automate, Power Platform Canvas Apps, and Sharepoint Framework.
  • Develop Business Intelligence dashboards using Power BI.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Participate in product design reviews and provide creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
  • Maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent and minimum of 10 years of applicable experience or equivalent, to include a minimum 3 years' experience developing Sharepoint solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in front-end web development, Office 365 Patterns and Practices project, Microsoft Office UI Fabric / Fluent UI React Components.
  • Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in client-side development using TypeScript, Web Services, SOAP, RestFul Services, Ajax, jQuery, JSON, HTML, HTML5, and CSS with Responsive Design.
  • Experience in client-side development Sharepoint Framework custom extensions and webparts.
  • Experience with web services and REST.
  • Experience with Sharepoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation and XML.
