We're looking for a skilled Civil Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of construction civil teams, ensuring that work is completed with precision, on time, and within the established budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction sites regularly to verify compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with other supervisors and project managers to align construction civil activities with other project elements.
- Resolve technical problems and challenges on site, providing effective solutions and communicating with engineers and management as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of construction, including work progress, resource utilization, and safety incidents.
- Identify long-term delivery equipment and systems, their impact on the construction program, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Coordinate and manage the supply and installation of equipment and systems within your discipline.
- Ensure compliance with the approved construction program and update it as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with national regulations and, in their absence, adhere to applicable international standards.
- Identify and document any changes that may arise, whether in time or cost, and track them.
- Coordinate and resolve interference for the installation of duct banks and/or underground installations required in the project.
- Train and orient personnel and new workers on best practices in civil construction and safety procedures.
- Evaluate worker and contractor performance, providing feedback and recommendations to improve productivity and work quality.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings to ensure that all aspects of civil construction are coordinated and aligned with the project's overall objectives.
- Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks on the construction site, including contingency planning for adverse conditions or delays.
- Ensure efficient management of materials and logistics on site, minimizing waste and optimizing resource use.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or education.
- Experience in supervising projects in Data Center and Industrial sectors.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- 6 years of experience in supervising construction civil projects.
