About the Role:
Fitch Ratings is seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our Leveraged Finance team in Monterrey. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of credit opinions and research on the Leveraged Finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the Leveraged Finance sector, including Middle Market borrowers.
- Develop and maintain expertise in the model used to derive credit opinion recommendations.
- Take ownership of a large number of credits to which Fitch assigns a credit assessment using a model.
- Prepare internal reports tracking key operational trends to inform senior staff and empower them to make good strategic planning decisions within the department.
- Collaborate with senior team members to publish research on Leveraged Finance and Middle Market/Private Debt topics for Fitch's external audience.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change.
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
