Key Responsibilities:
- Expedite the transportation of materials and components from suppliers to our facilities.
- Coordinate and expedite import and export procedures, including customs clearance and document preparation.
- Authorize invoices from transport companies and customs agents, classifying and prorating them by project.
- Develop and maintain a control system for extraordinary freight, reporting internal and external expenses to purchasing and accounting areas.
- Collaborate with purchasing areas, materials programming, transporters, and customs agents to reduce transportation costs.
- Ensure correct application of IMMEX, PROSEC, and Free Trade Agreement programs, coordinating with customs agents and sending required documentation.
