About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product QA Developer Intern to join our team at Epicor. As a Product QA Developer Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by providing feedback on product quality issues and working closely with development to resolve them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test checklists and scenarios to test new product features and functionality, as well as sustaining work.
- Analyze test results to determine test success or failure, both manual and automated.
- Create test checklists and scenarios from analysis of detailed design specifications.
- Record defects found in testing using approved defect tracking software.
- Perform regression testing of interim releases, including service packs or patches.
- Develop a list of items to include on the regression test, execute the test, and analyze the results.
- Communicate findings and exchange information with internal groups.
- Maintain Automation Framework and develop new scripts.
- Develop Test Plans.
Requirements:
- A student currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with at least 1 year to graduate.
- Object-oriented programming knowledge, with Angular/Protractor/WebDriverIO technology being a plus.
- Participation in extracurricular web-development projects is also a plus.
- Basic understanding of client-server and web application environments.
- Prioritize work assignments.
- Work with team members to resolve testing problems.
- Listen and communicate both verbally and in writing to other co-workers and department contacts.
- English speaking and comprehension skills.
