Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the best approach to meet customer demands.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to develop and improve the supply base.
- Support SCM initiatives and strategies to improve sourcing options and reduce costs.
- Analyze and project component purchase prices to accurately reflect inventory value.
- Provide input to determine quoted costs to customers that are competitive and maximize Materials Price Variance (MPV).
- Optimize MPV by reducing material costs and limiting unfavorable PPV/MPV.
- Collaborate with Materials Planners to track and provide feedback on supplier performance for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
