Job Summary

We are seeking a Recreation Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for encouraging, recruiting, registering, and scheduling guests to participate in recreation activities. You will promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, provide information about available recreation facilities and activities, and observe activity in the recreational facility to respond appropriately in case of an emergency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage and recruit guests to participate in recreation activities
  • Register and schedule guests for recreation activities
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities
  • Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in case of an emergency
  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
