Job Title: Chief Equipment Procurement Officer

Vitesco Technologies is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our equipment procurement efforts.

Estimated Salary: 150,000 - 200,000 USD per annum

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Equipment Procurement Officer to join our Operations team in Cuautla. As a key member of our production line sourcing process, you will be responsible for defining and specifying automation concepts and production machines, leading negotiations with suppliers, and ensuring timely industrialization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and specify automation concepts and production machines, focusing on PWM assembly lines and mold testlines
• Lead the production line sourcing process, discuss specifications with suppliers, and guide negotiations
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop production lines, discussing design requirements and tracking industrialization timelines
• Develop lean production concepts, evaluate investment needs based on product value stream data, and track DFM measures within global project teams
• Lead machine acceptance, define and track LOP points, and align production layouts within the plant
• Support process-related trials and experiments

Requirements:

• Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or Mechanical engineering background
• Seven years of experience in automotive and/or (power) electronics production
• Experience in production ramp-up or production environments
• Fluent English skills and good knowledge of MS Office
• Good communication skills and an efficient working style
