We are seeking a highly skilled International Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Grupo Prodensa. As a Senior Global Trade Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's trade compliance program, with a focus on Mexico.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in trade compliance within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of IMMEX, Prosec, and VAT certifications. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs laws and regulations, as well as providing expert advice on classification, valuation, Incoterms, record keeping, auditing, country of origin, tariff optimization, and Free Trade Agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with IMMEX, Prosec, and VAT certifications
- Classify items for HTS (RM and FG)
- Support the free trade program by issuing internal and client certificates
- Monthly Operational and Compliance Metrics / KPIs
- Special Project Compliance
- Support in resolving operations issues
Requirements
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance
- Fluent English
- Visa and Passport, willingness to travel
- Knowledge of Oracle and SAP ERP
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in trade compliance within a manufacturing environment
- Mastery of Annex 24 software
- Proficiency with trade compliance such as IMMEX, Prosec, and VAT Certificate
Salary Range
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
