Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company. As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Test and Development: Performs complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Problem Solving: Analyzes engineering test results, and implements changes to resolve problems and improve product performance.
- Documentation: Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
- Collaboration: Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required to test customer products per their specifications.
- Training: Trains technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment.
- Education: Typically requires an Associate's degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Typically requires 10 years of related experience.
- Skills: Serves as an expert/consultant in technical skills with other employees. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced technologies as well as functional techniques and improves processes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
