Import/Export Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Import/Export Compliance Manager to join our team at nVent. As a key member of our global trade team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing import and export compliance policies and procedures in accordance with local and international legislation and policies. This includes identifying accurate filing of customs documents, ensuring compliance with tariff and non-tariff regulations, and verifying the correct Incoterm rules for foreign trade transactions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain import and export compliance policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate filing of customs documents
- Verify compliance with tariff and non-tariff regulations
- Verify correct Incoterm rules for foreign trade transactions
- Identify and mitigate trade compliance risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or International Trade
- 8+ years of experience in import/export compliance management
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Certification in import and export compliance is a plus
