At Belcan Corporation, we seek a Manufacturing Leadership Expert - Senior Advisor to lead our customers throughout Mexico. This role involves deploying to customer locations as needed to support projects related to strategic manufacturing and supply chain leadership and consulting. Ideal candidates will have strong manufacturing and supply chain leadership and supervisory skills capable of driving measurable solutions and outcomes for clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in managing day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in planning, organizing, coordinating, and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Responsible for managing the utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources is needed.
  • Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs.
  • Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus plant-wide.
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
  • Monitor all internal systems for accuracy and compliance with company rules, standards, expectations, and applicable laws.
  • Control significant manufacturing projects, plan and schedule facility assignments, and set priorities.
  • Support all cross-functional teams to proactively develop product and service solutions.
  • Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent/conversational in English and Spanish.
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of product and production processes.
  • Experience with increased responsibility and management in manufacturing facility management, supply chain, production, plant management, operations, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders, managers, and experts at various levels.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a project management environment.
  • Can identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing.
  • Past experiences as one of the following: Top Consultant, Production Manager, Plant Manager, Vice President, Strategic Subject Matter Expert, Operations Leader, Quality Manager, Materials Manager, etc.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on skills and experience.
