We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Technician to join our team at Acuity Brands. As a Senior Test Technician, you will be responsible for configuring, setting up, maintaining, and diagnosing test equipment in our production cells and/or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Equipment Configuration: Configure and set up test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Test Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on test equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Test Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot test equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of tests.
- Test Planning: Create daily work plans to achieve test plan goals on schedule.
- Inspections: Perform pre and post-test inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of test results.
Requirements:
Education: Electronics Technician
Skills:
- Experience with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and Adobe products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience using LabView.
- Intermediate knowledge of OF applications and computer languages.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, knowledge of and skills in electronics: PC computers, statistical tools, gauge capability, and experimental design familiarity with a wide variety of test and measurement equipment.
