About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at syncreon America Inc. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading the accounting close process for various entities in Mexico, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting close process for multiple entities in Mexico, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SAP systems.
- Coordinate with external consultants to ensure seamless accounting close and other activities.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly estimates of profit and loss, and explanations of variances to management.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and capital expenditure processes.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Treasury, and other corporate areas to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including social security and payroll tax.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electronic invoicing processes and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Lead project management initiatives for various business and finance topics, including new business development and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business team members across various divisions and provide support to the team.
- Travel within Mexico and to the USA as required, ensuring compliance with visa requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of logistics industry processes, including containerized and freight forwarding.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including financial compliance and internal controls.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ethics, responsibility, and honesty in all financial dealings.
