Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled National Compliance Officer to join our team in Mexico City. As a key member of our regional Compliance Team, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving an effective compliance program at the national level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain clear standards of business and ethical conduct consistent with Kuehne+Nagel's Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure effective national governance and adequate procedures to manage and oversee compliance requirements within the country.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees, business partners, and third parties.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ongoing support to business units.
  • Regularly update compliance risk assessments, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Timely and effectively resolve compliance issues.
  • Independently report on compliance-related topics to the Regional Compliance Officer.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in law, business management, or extensive working experience in a compliance function at a global company of similar size.
  • Expert knowledge of the US FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and the OECD convention on combating bribery and other applicable anti-bribery laws, regulations, and standards.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a fully dedicated compliance or equivalent role.
  • Solid track record in designing and implementing compliance systems following good practice standards.
  • Organizational experience and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
