We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our Global Services team at Google. As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of cloud security and ensure the integrity of their digital transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of consulting engagements and develop deliverables from start to finish, guiding teams in analyzing requirements and collaborating with other team members to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
  • Provide expert guidance on building or transforming cybersecurity programs and the implementation of technologies used for enterprise security.
  • Offer advice on best practices for managing cybersecurity risks during digital transformation as organizations adopt cloud, DevOps, and new architecture frameworks (e.g., containerization, microservices, and zero trust).
  • Conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cybersecurity risks, and provide clear and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • 1+ year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.
  • Certifications in Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIH) and/or Google Cloud Security Engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud computing concepts and how security controls are applied to those cloud-based technologies.
  • Understanding of the cyber threat landscape.
  • Ability to successfully interact with clients in a concise manner while managing expectations at both executive and technical levels.
