This role will lead a fast-growing and innovative team, collaborating with engineers, team members, and senior leaders to develop a software platform at the heart of our Marketing organization. **Responsibilities:**

• Ensure the right skills are on the team, adjusting hiring plans and identifying training opportunities
• Assign engineering work
• Establish consistent working structures across the team (build, QA, release management processes)

**Requirements:**

• 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience in a team environment
• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers
• Experience managing remote teams
• Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software development best practices, such as code review, automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and telemetry
• A deep appreciation for and understanding of analytics, including implementation and interpretation of metrics
• Comfort with change and the ability to guide your team through uncertainty
• Empathy and teamwork – we celebrate our successes as a team and help each other achieve success
• Proven ability to collaborate regularly with colleagues in both engineering and non-engineering roles
• Good communication skills, especially in asynchronous, written forms, to work effectively with geographically distributed teams and people of various backgrounds
• Ability to work in an environment with numerous simultaneous projects

**Nice to Have:**

• Experience developing with Salesforce products, especially Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Pardot
• Full-stack development experience
