About the Role

The Jr. Product Owner is a key member of our Product Management team, responsible for providing analytical support to assigned product and business areas. Daily tasks include reviewing products, gathering market requirements, and recommending technical approaches and solutions to the Product Manager. Additionally, the Jr. Product Owner performs analysis, design, project estimation, and systems administration. This role directs and coordinates product development, serving as a collaborative liaison between Product Management and Product Delivery teams by defining, prioritizing, and evaluating work.

Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
• Definition and management of user stories, acceptance criteria, product features specification, MVP delivery, backlog prioritization, and participation in project development routines/ceremonies.
• Planning, organizing, and directing the implementation and/or development of products in accordance with strategic business plans or related projects.
• Interfacing with customers and business stakeholders to provide issue resolution for products and processes.
• Continuously exploring customers' (internal or external) wants, needs, problems, and preferences of the products, services, systems, APIs, and platforms consumed by them.
• Identifying problems, needs, and preferences that are worth solving, always looking to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Understanding market rhythms, events, sudden opportunities, competitive threats, and changing regulations and their influence on the product roadmap and strategy.
• Collaborating with the Product Manager to analyze market research and understand business drivers that trigger feature requests.
• Guiding the sequencing of features that generate the highest value for customers and GMF through understanding which problems need to be solved, which solutions would best solve them, and the feasibility of delivering those solutions.
• Interpreting business rules for functional and technical requirements, system designs, and documentation for business solutions.
• Establishing a shared understanding of customer needs before moving to problem-solving.
• Working with Agile or Hybrid teams to craft high-quality customer-centric user stories that exceed customer expectations.
• Facilitating project completion through close work with internal business units.
• Providing Quality Assurance Testing for production implementation.
• Driving product assessments and requirements based on product performance metrics.
• Performing other duties or special projects as assigned/required.

Qualifications
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese (desired).
• Knowledge and experience of vehicle retail and insurance finance business or related finance industry (desired).
• Knowledge in the implementation of IT projects (Finance business or related finance industry).
• Proven expertise of Agile Framework and Scrum Methodologies.
• Ability to interpret business rules and customer requirements for creating system and process documentation, program specifications, and project specifications.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts and best practices and how they are applied in the workplace.
• Thorough understanding of Vision/Roadmap creation, Portfolio/Program/Team Backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization.
• Ability to effectively define product roadmaps, identify, and properly document requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver business insights based on product performance metrics, benchmarking, or applicable data sources.
• Strong technical and analytical mind and background.
• Oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate to individuals and groups effortlessly.
• Time management skills.
