We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in the City of Shakopee, MN. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing activities related to the design and optimization of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement: Support the manufacturing team to meet safety, sales, productivity, and cost targets by defining and implementing multiple improvement projects for the valve area.
- Problem Analysis: Analyze problems, propose solutions, and provide written instructions when a deviation or modification of a process, material, or specification is required.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and specifications established in the quality management system and by the EHS department related to your position.
- Process Development: Develop improvement projects to make processes and/or products more efficient, as well as reduce waste and costs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Hold information meetings on the status of the department, projects, and future plans.
- Experience**: Proven experience in manual and automated manufacturing processes.
- Education**: B.S. or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related.
- Skills**: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, strong problem-solving capability, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications**: Experience in Continuous Improvement Projects (Kaizen), high experience in the use of problem-solving tools, and relevant industry experience with a proven track record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects.
