Job Description

Job Title: Data Science Group Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Group Manager to lead our Modeling Team in developing strategic data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and improvement in our analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Modeling Team in developing and implementing data science programs and solutions
  • Develop and articulate analytical frameworks to solve business challenges
  • Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of customer behavior
  • Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools and methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization
  • Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation/opportunity strategies
  • Ensure robust quality control in the analytical processes
  • Cross-functional leadership to drive towards a common goal

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data & analytics
  • Proven ability in model building and application experience in big data techniques and tools such as Python, R, Spark, H2o
  • Ability for strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
  • Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data
  • Influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
  • Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities
  • Modeling experience
  • Strategic thinking and team player

Education: Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
