Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate department located in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Capital & Fixed Assets Globally, coordinating the month end close, and assisting with account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Capital & Fixed Assets Globally, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate the month end close, including Intercompany balancing, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Assist with account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly Financial Statements, providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Work with centralized receivables and payables team to troubleshoot outstanding items, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
  • Assist with preparation and documentation for internal and external audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with multiple levels of Finance and organizational personnel to improve overall standards of performance and service.
  • Provide good customer service to all customers, both internal and external, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Complete additional duties, special projects, and participate on teams as assigned, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
  • Adhere to established safety policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Support the organization's goals and values, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; equivalent education and/or experience considered.
  • Experience with a Big 4 or large US-owned public accounting firm.
  • Prior experience with a global public manufacturing organization having multi-site responsibility is a plus.
  • Proficient English language skills.
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, including hands-on month end close accountability, strong financial acumen, and knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing accounting.
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and present numerical data effectively and accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization.
  • High level organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work well in a group and take direction, as well as work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage and complete assigned tasks and timely communicate results to the US Corporate team.
  • Fluent with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Desire to be part of a growth business and operate in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
