Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Molex. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing data support and facilitation of customer quality-related issues to the Guadalajara Management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Support efforts to improve Quality performance metrics, including Quality Nonconformity, Scrap, Non-conforming material, and Sorting.
- Organize and oversee the tabulation of summary information for management and customer reports.
- Help drive a Zero-Defect mentality throughout the department.
- Support the response to customer issues by deploying appropriate containment actions and/or corrective actions.
- Interface directly with customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed 8D reports.
- Provide guidance in the development and analysis of inspection requirements, gaging criteria, SAP requirements, product processing techniques, and methodologies.
- Plan, execute, analyze, and report on product/process change evaluations as well as production problems using appropriate statistical tools.
- Work with AQP Engineers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers on qualification, PPAP, and Safe-Launch of new and existing products.
- Participate and support the sustaining and launched process.
- Support the deployment of FMEA, control plan, and process flow documentation in production and ensure requirements are periodically reviewed for all processes.
- Develop inspection routines for process and final audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality, or management field.
- Knowledge in the IATF 16949 standard.
- Certification standards and auditing.
- SAP and quality software (Minitab, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related standards.
- Quality system auditing.
