About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Controls Senior Analyst to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating business and IT process risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess business and IT process risks, and design controls to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain controls documentation, including risk and control matrices, test scripts, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform controls testing to assess design and operational effectiveness.
  • Support management in the development, testing, and governance of monitoring activities and analytics.
  • Define requirements for internal controls and security governance.
  • Develop processes and content to operationalize control and security governance requirements and processes.
  • Support various process activities related to control governance, control automation, and relevant tools.
  • Execute control updates and populate templates as required by Global Control Standard (GCS).
  • Support the review and discovery of risk assessments to support risk analyses.
  • Monitor the status of remediation plans.
  • Perform quarterly follow-ups on audit recommendations.
  • Report status of audit recommendations.
  • Assess evidence to confirm closure of audit recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings to support the controls agenda.
  • Adopt and adhere to project processes and methodology.
  • Coordinate and work closely with internal PepsiCo controls teams/SMEs, project team members, business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
  • 3+ years of control, technology risk, and/or finance experience.
  • Big 4 or equivalent consulting experience (preferred).
  • CISA, CISSP, CIA, PMP, SAFe, ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma, or other equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Project Life Cycle Experience (preferred).
  • Thorough understanding of PepsiCo business processes/policies and associated risks, including a strong understanding of the PepsiCo Global Control Standard (GCS).
  • Broad understanding of compliance, audit, and business controls activities.
  • Working knowledge of basic control concepts and information security concepts.
  • General understanding of the key process areas within the program (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Go-To-Market, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in written form, with the ability to articulate to key stakeholders what our objective is and why.
  • Understanding of data analytics with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
